11th coronavirus infection detected in Canada

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The seventh resident of British Columbia became infected with coronavirus, which was the eleventh case of a new type of pneumonia in Canada. This was announced on Monday by the representative of the Ministry of Health of the province of Bonnie Henry.

“We detected a new case of [infection] with coronavirus,” she said on CBC. The sick person is a man living in the same house with a woman who was diagnosed with it last week.Both patients are isolated in their home. While their state of health does not cause concern among doctors.

Four cases of coronavirus infection were previously reported in Ontario. According to February 21, three people were able to recover. Six more cases of coronavirus infection were detected in British Columbia, one of the cases is already completely healthy.

Five had visited China before arriving in Canada, and one woman had returned from Iran, and it was from her that the person that Henry had reported was infected.
