SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – Syrian media sources told RT that 12 Syrian soldiers were killed in clashes with militants north of the Syrian province of Latakia.
The sources pointed out that the clashes occurred after the infiltration of the militants of the so-called “Sham Liberation Organization”, which is the organization of the “Front of victory” terrorist nucleus, in the Tal Rasha north of the province mentioned.
In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Syrian army bombed areas in the northern Latakia countryside, targeting the positions of militants in the axis of the pogrom, in addition to clashes in the axis of the hill Rasho on Friday.
The Syrian forces control most of the territory of Latvia, except for areas in the far north of the province on the border with Turkey and the administrative border between the provinces of Latakia and Idlib.
By the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, the Syrian army had managed to liberate many areas in the Latakia countryside from the “Free Army”, the “Nasra Front”, the Turkoman militants and others.
