2 expert groups of the OPCW will leave by Duma at the end of the week

EAST GHOUTA (OBSERVATORY) –¬†Two expert missions of the OPCW should go to Syria to investigate the incident in the city of Dumas (East Ghouta) at the end of the week, said Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia.

“According to our information, two expert groups of the OPCW mission should go to Syria at the end of this week,” Nebenzia said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

He stressed that if the OPCW experts for some reason can not get into the Duma, it will again be evidence that “dirty geopolitical games” are hidden behind the “speculations on the chemists.”

“If experts do not get into the Duma under some pretext, as a result of opposition from those who continue to speculate on the chemical topic for denigrating Syria and Russia, this will be another evidence that dirty geopolitical games lie in this whole lying history, concluded the Russian permanent representative.
