A column of 85 buses with militants and their families left the city of the Duma

SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – A column of 85 buses with the militants of the radical group “Jays al-Islam” and members of their families began movement from the Duma (in Eastern Ghouta) in the direction of Jarablus in the north of the province of Aleppo.

The first buses with the fighters “Jaysh al-Islam” left the Duma on Sunday. Over the past 24 hours, about 3.6 thousand militants and members of their families on 70 buses were withdrawn from the Duma.

The process of withdrawal of militants to Jarablus from the eastern suburb of Damascus resumed after the night of Wednesday the last group of captured terrorists arrived in the Syrian capital.

The Duma remains the last bulwark of terrorists in East Ghouta. Thanks to the agreements reached earlier, under the control of the Russian and Syrian military police, the Duma managed to bring all the militants of the Failak Ar-Rahman group and their families to Idlib Province, at the beginning of the week the last captured city in Ghouta left several groups of militants, Jays al-Islam, who left for Jarablus.
