Acting Director of the IAEA tells Iran time is crucial

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Acting director-general Cornel Verota said on Monday he had assured Iranian officials of the importance of swift cooperation with the IAEA in seeking information on Tehran’s activities, a day after he held meetings there.

“Time is crucial,” Verota told a news conference.

He said he was happy with the tone and the Iranian side’s presentation and that his message was “well received”.
