FRANCE (OBSERVATORY) – French airline Air France plans to cancel on Wednesday about 30% of flights in connection with the strike.
The message published on Tuesday on the airline’s website says that Air France intends to fulfill 60% of long-haul and 65% of medium-haul flights.
It is noted that about 40% of pilots, 20% of crews and 15% of employees of ground services of airports will take part in the strike.
The airline urged passengers to check the status of flights in advance.
Employees of Air France since February have already held several strikes, the losses from which are estimated at 170 million euros .
Earlier on April 7 it was reported that Air France had to cancel about 30% of flights because of a strike by employees.
They demand a salary increase of 6%, while company management calls it impossible, given the current financial situation and high competition in the industry.
