Belgium will ban advertising of all tobacco products

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Belgium will impose a ban on advertising of all tobacco products from January 2021.

Belgian television channel VRT announced that the decision has been approved in Parliament.

According to the decision, from January 2021 advertising of tobacco products in front of the shops will be banned.

At the same time it will be prohibited to use cigarettes in vehicles if they are minors.

It is said that the decision was made to reduce cigarette consumption, which is one of the leading causes of lung cancer.
