As noted in a statement circulated by the committee, the number of people infected in the administrative center of Hubei in Wuhan, which is considered the main source of the spread of the disease, exceeded 32.9 thousand people. In second and third place are Xiaogan and Huanggang, where the number of cases was about 2.8 thousand and 2.6 thousand, respectively.
In addition, the province has more than 9 thousand people with suspected quarantined viruses. More than 77.3 thousand residents who had close contact with the infected are also under medical supervision.
