BREAKING: UN peacekeeper killed in car bombing in Mali

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY – BREAKING NEWS) — In Mali, the peacekeeper of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the country was killed. This was reported in the Twitter account of the official representative of MINUSMA Olivier Salgado.

The incident occurred in the vicinity of the town of Agelhock in northern Mali.

It is noted that the peacekeeper was killed in a car bombing in a mine. The incident also affected 4 more people.

It is known that they all patrolled the city as part of a security mission.

According to Salgado, also a group of UN peacekeepers on Sunday were attacked by armed militants. Their attack was repelled.
