Britain plans on April 18 to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council on the report of the OPCW

UNITED KINGDOM (OBSERVATORY) –┬áThe United Kingdom plans to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council on April 18 on the report of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on the Salisbury incident, after the report was considered by the OPCW Executive Council, the country’s permanent representative to the UN, Karen Pearce, said.

“The UK asked the OPCW General Director to convene a meeting of the executive council next Wednesday (April 18.) In New York, we requested a meeting of the UN Security Council next week, which is likely to take place on Wednesday evening,” Pierce told reporters at the UN.
