Central Bank of Poland left the rate unchanged, as expected

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The Central Bank of Poland on Wednesday kept the base interest rate unchanged at 1.5%, in line with the expectations of analysts surveyed by Reuters.

The central bank, which completed the mitigation cycle in March 2015, also maintained a fixed Lombard rate of 2.50%, a deposit rate of 0.50%, and a conversion rate of 1.75%.

The Bank’s Monetary Policy Council will hold a press conference at 18.00 Moscow time.
