Central Command denies shooting down US military plane

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The US Central Command denied in a statement on Friday that any Pentagon drones had been shot down, following reports by the official IRNA news agency that Iranian forces had shot down a foreign drone.

“Reports claiming that a US drone was shot down are incorrect,” the Central Command said on Twitter. If a drone is shot down under the responsibility of the Central Command, it is not the Ministry of Defense’s equipment.”
