UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – The Chinese Ministry of Defense has warned the United States, France and the United Kingdom against any deployment of ships in the South China Sea.
“We will not tolerate such actions,” the Chinese Defense Ministry warned, warning Washington, Paris and London of any attempt to send ships to the South China Sea.
The Chinese Defense warned, Wednesday, June 6 in a statement, the United States, France and the United Kingdom that the armed forces of the country would not hesitate to defend the territorial integrity and the Chinese interests against any action in the South China Sea, IRNA reported.
Beijing said that strengthening its operations in the South China Sea was only aimed at increasing its defense capacity and that to do so, it did not need the authorization of any country.
“The American presence in the South China Sea is important. Beijing therefore reserves the right to react by setting up defense measures to safeguard its regional waters, “said a researcher from the National Institute for the South China Sea.
France and the United Kingdom have recently announced that they will soon send their ships to the South China Sea, the epicenter of the Sino-US conflict.
