Coronavirus in Germany: All citizens entering airport will be “isolated”

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Germany took stringent measures on citizens coming from China. They will stay around for two weeks “isolated” from the authorities and undergo medical tests.

The deputy minister for social affairs and integration in Hesse said everyone would be kept under the care of doctors and provided with food for 14 days.

Conditions for this type of treatment are still under discussion by the Ministry of Health and the government to ensure that no one who may have been infected can enter or exit German territory.

A ministry spokesman said the government would send aircraft to Wuhan to bring German citizens back home. Anyone with symptoms on the flight will receive immediate medical attention.

These measures were taken after confirmation of 4 cases of coronavirus in Germany.

The Minister of Health hopes for an agreement with China to return German citizens as soon as possible.
