Creating an electronic chip to control alcohol addicts

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) –┬áScientists from the University of California, USA, have developed a microchip to treat alcoholics.

Experts confirm that this chip will become one of the most important tools that will enable doctors in hospitals and addiction treatment centers to monitor patients and addicts, thanks to its ease of use and small size, which does not exceed the size of a grain of rice, which enables them to implant under the skin using certain injections without pain.

The dimensions of this chip (0.85 / 1.5) mm, containing inside the enzymes are affected by alcohol, and if the owner of any alcoholic drinks, the sensors in which it sends alarm signals to the computers or smartphone of the doctors.

This type of chip does not require internal batteries; it draws power wirelessly from watches or smart bracelets worn by the user.
