According to the source of the channel, the flight of Cubana de Aviacion to Cuba was sent to Guyana.
According to the Cuban state television, the plane was flying to the province of Holguin (Cuba), there were 104 people on board.
According to other sources, there were 107 people on board. The Cuban authorities do not yet name the number of passengers and crew members.

As the correspondent of CNN, located in Havana, the airline Cubana de Aviacion was ordered to stop flights on some aircraft for security reasons. He noted that the causes of the incident are still unknown.
