SYRIA (OBSERVATORY) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria sent an official invitation to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) mission to visit East Ghouta.
This was reported by the SANA agency referring to the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Syria.
It is noted that Syria confirms its intention to provide all necessary support to the mission and expects that the mission will work in full transparency and rely on concrete evidence.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia would work for the OPCW experts to visit the Syrian Duma.
Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzia announced the clearly staged nature of the incident in the Syrian city of the Duma.
