“The Syrian Democratic Forces, after threatening the Syrian elite forces affiliated with al-Ghad al-Souri and led by Ahmad al-Jarba, have taken action,” announced the Arab Council of the nomadic tribes of Dezireh. and the Euphrates in a statement, adding: “We hold the Syrian Democratic Forces accountable for this major offensive that will engender chaos and shed the blood of the people.”
The Council called on the United States and Russia, the two superpowers supporting forces active on the ground, to intervene in the conflict between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Syrian Elite Forces in order to end.
“Al-Ghad al-Souri is on the one hand threatened by the US coalition airstrikes and on the other by the Syrian Democratic Forces if they are not disarmed,” said one of the leaders of the council. , who added that about 50 members of the Syrian Democratic Forces had gone to the home of one of al-Ghad al-Souri’s leaders and asked him to hand over his weapons.
According to this member of the Arab Council, the Kurdish units oppose the presence of any Arab group in the region.
During the liberation operations in Raqqa province, the special forces of the al-Ghad al-Souri movement fought alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces. But later, they clashed more than once in the provinces of Deir ez-Zor and Hasaké.
