UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — An earthquake in eastern Turkey killed 9 people, injuring 37.
Earlier it was reported about 8 dead and 21 injured.
An earthquake on the border of Iran and Turkey occurred early in the morning. The epicenter was located 141 kilometers west of the Iranian city of Tabriz and 71 kilometers southeast of the Turkish city of Ozalp. The hearth lay at a depth of 5 kilometers.
