Earthquake of magnitude 5.9 felt in Chile – USGS

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred on Sunday in Chile. This was reported by the US Geological Survey.

According to her, the epicenter of tremors was located 73 km northeast of the city of Kalama with a population of about 150 thousand people. The focus of the elements lies at a depth of about 112 km.
