Earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred near the capital of Albania

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred near the capital of Albania, Tirana, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

The earthquake was recorded at 2.54 UTC.

The epicenter of tremors was located 10 kilometers northwest of the city of Shijak near Tirana. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

There were no reports of casualties or destruction.
