Effect of nutrition in the treatment of cancer

“One-third of cancer is caused by malnutrition,” said Professor Richard Dole, a cancer specialist. “The cancer patient needs a special diet that supplies the body with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and proteins.”

Professor Dole also confirms that some of the feeding systems suggested by alternative medicine in the treatment of cancer may play a negative role. For example, cancer can not be cured by hunger, or certain herbs are used in treatment, because malnutrition will lead to a severe deterioration in the patient’s health.

Doctors recommend eating fruits and vegetables, reducing fatty substances, abstaining from drinking alcohol, reducing the intake of sugar, red meat, and canned and semi-processed foods.
