Erdogan on Manbij: When the city is evacuated, Turkey won’t go there

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY VIDEO) — Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s President: “We are about to implement our decision on Manbij. As you know our mutual agreement with the United States regarding Manbij was that terrorist organizations were going to evacuate Manbij within 90 days.

But a year has passed and Manbij has not been evacuated. When the city is evacuated Turkey won’t go there. The rightful owners, our Arab brethren, will be going there. And our approach on this issue is for them to go there and provide for their own security.”
