Erdogan receives the President of the European Council on Saturday

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — In Istanbul, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

According to a statement issued by the Communication Department of the Turkish presidency, Michel will pay a working visit to Turkey, during which he will meet President Erdogan, on Saturday.

The two sides are expected to discuss Turkish-European relations as well as regional developments in the region, according to the same source.

It should be noted that this is the first high-level visit of the new European Union administration to Turkey.
