TURKEY (OBSERVATORY) – The Turkish president warned that the authors of the chemical attack in Duma would pay dearly for it.
In an interventionist speech, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan denounced the authors of the chemical attack in Duma, stressing that they would pay dearly for what they had done.
On Tuesday, April 10, Recep Tayyip Erdogan added, in front of the members of the AKP parliamentary bloc, to the National Assembly of Turkey, that the military operation Rameau d’olivier in Afrin would continue until the eradication of all Kurdish militia.
“4,071 terrorists in Afrin and 337 others in northern Iraq were shot dead. We will continue our struggle until the eradication of all terrorists, “said the Turkish president.
The terrorists gassed on Sunday, April 8, the inhabitants of the city of Douma, in Eastern Ghouta, near Damascus. A hundred people were killed and hundreds more injured.
The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a warning on Saturday, April 7, announcing that the terrorist groups Jaych al-Islam and the Free Syrian Army were planning to attack Duma with poison gas.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, “the terrorists aim to provoke the feelings of the world community by accusing the Syrian government of attacking its own people.”
The ministry added that this attack could be exploited by the Arab and Western allies of the terrorists.
The Syrian government destroyed all its chemical substances and weapons in 2013, under the supervision of the United States and the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
