UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – An explosion at an oil refinery in Wisconsin on Thursday resulted in at least 20 casualties, fire officials told KQDS.
An explosion at an oil refinery in the US state of Wisconsin hit 20 people, local media reported.
The commander of the police department in the state called on Twitter, citizens to stay away from the fire area, and the workers evacuated the building.
“There is no need to evacuate the students from the building and we will keep them in a safe place inside the school,” said the school’s principal.

The accident took place at the Haski Oil Refinery in Suprior, Wisconsin, with more than 180 employees. The cause of the blast has not yet been identified.
