GERMANY (OBSERVATORY) – German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas demanded that Russia take a more constructive approach to resolving the situation in Syria.
According to him, Russia has become a complex partner, but Berlin intends to continue the dialogue with Moscow.
“The fact that in recent days there has been no escalation, and now everyone is talking about diplomatic and political decisions, is really a sign that something should have changed,” Maas said on the air of the ARD channel .
He stressed that “the conflict in Syria without the participation of Russia can not be solved.”
Earlier , the Foreign Minister of Germany said that he was in favor of a more strict policy towards Russia.
