UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Former US intelligence officer Jason Kander said President Donald Trump is “Putin’s Foreign Secretary.”
Kander said that Trump allegedly agrees with Russian politics in Syria and Ukraine, which, in his opinion, is a sufficient basis for impeachment to the head of state, InoTV reports, citing Newsweek.
“It doesn’t even matter if he has investments in Russian firms. Now he is afraid that Russia will either undermine its legitimacy, recognizing that it helped him win the election, or will not help him win again. In any case, he has Russia in his pocket. With all his actions, he supports Russian foreign policy. In fact, he is Putin’s Foreign Minister,” Kander said.
The publication recalled that with Trump coming to power, the United States stopped trying to overthrow Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, although they acted against the forces of the government.
In addition, Trump intends to withdraw troops from Syria and leave the allies defenseless against Turkey, Russia and Syria, the author of the publication noted.
On Saturday, The Washington Post, citing sources in the White House, wrote that U.S. President Donald Trump was “curious” about Russian leader Vladimir Putin during their first telephone conversation on January 28, 2017.
