Gaza: 12 Palestinians injured in a demonstration rejecting the “deal of the century”

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — On Friday, 12 Palestinians were injured during the Israeli army assaulting peaceful demonstrators against the alleged American “deal of the century”, near the border fence in the eastern Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said, in a statement that Anatolia received a copy, that “Palestinian medical teams dealt with 12 injuries by the Israeli occupation in the eastern Gaza Strip,” without clarifying the nature of the injuries.

According to the Anatolian correspondent, the demonstrators fired live bullets, tear gas and coated metal bullets at the demonstrators.

Palestinian masses gathered near the eastern border between the Gaza Strip and Israel, on Friday evening, in an expression of their rejection of the “Deal of the Century”.

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump announced the outlines of his alleged deal, in the presence of outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the ambassadors of the Emirates, Bahrain and Oman to Washington, while the Palestinian Authority and resistance factions, Turkey and several other countries refused.

The component plan includes the establishment of a Palestinian state in the form of an “archipelago” connected by bridges and tunnels with no airport or sea port, while making occupied Jerusalem the alleged unified capital of Israel.
