GAZA: Two killed, 24 wounded during the 73rd Friday of the March of Return

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the killing of two Palestinians and the injury of 23 people during the 73rd Friday of the marches of return and breaking the siege on the Gaza border.

One of the dead was a 17-year-old man, the ministry said.

On Friday afternoon, thousands of Palestinians arrived in Al-Awda refugee camps to participate in the “Protection of the Home Front” Friday, in response to an invitation from the High Authority for Return Marches and breaking the siege.

The Israeli army deployed dozens of soldiers along the five return camps, amid intensive overflights by reconnaissance aircraft.

It is noteworthy that the marches of return and break the siege began on March 30, 2018 to demand the return of refugees to the occupied territories, and to break the siege on the Gaza Strip for 13 years.
