US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — Gold futures fell during the US session on Thursday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery were trading at $ 1,568.25 a troy ounce at the time of writing, down 4.51%.
Earlier, the troy ounce was traded during a dollar bearish session. Gold was likely to find support at $ 1,560.65 and resistance at $ 1,704.30.
The Futures US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback against six other major currencies, rose 0.88% to trade at 97.343 dollars.
Elsewhere on Comex, for May delivery fell 6.59% to trade at 15.670 dollars a troy ounce while Copper for May delivery fell 1.60% to trade at 2.462 dollars per pound.
