Gold futures fell during the US session

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Gold futures fell during the US session on Monday.

On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for April delivery were trading at $ 1,592.60 a troy ounce at the time of writing, down 1.65%.

Earlier, the troy ounce was traded during a dollar bearish session. Gold was likely to find support at $ 1,564.00 and resistance at $ 1,662.50.

The Futures US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback against six other major currencies, fell 0.80% to trade at 97.293 dollars.

Elsewhere on Comex, Money For May delivery rose 1.62% to trade at 16.723 dollars per troy ounce while Copper for May delivery increased 2.17% to trade at 2.595 dollars per pound.
