UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Google prematurely talked about the Android 11 operating system, which will not be officially shown until May. The leak came from a site for a preview version intended for developers.
The Android 11 Developer Preview page did not last long and is now closed. From the screenshots taken by Android Police, you can find out that in the new OS there will be changes at the system level that will affect the operation of applications, as well as new security features to protect user data.
In addition, Android 11 will update a whole range of different APIs: from biometrics and media content to neural networks and deeper support for devices with bendable screens.
The page did not contain active hyperlinks to download the preliminary build of Android 11. And those that were available pointed to the beta version of last year.
The first preview version of Android Q Beta 1 was released in mid-March 2019. In 2020, the release is expected by this time.
Officially, Android 11 can be presented at the Google I / O 2020 conference for developers. This year the event will be held from May 12 to 14.
