Hacker hacked Guardiola’s mail and tried to sell data for 100 thousand pounds

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The head coach of the Manchester City football club, Josep Guardiola, was the victim of a hacker. As a result of breaking the mail, the attacker gained access to all letters received and sent by the Spanish specialist.

The fraudster turned out to be the personal data of a number of football players, information about upcoming transfers, as well as the contacts of all City players.

According to The Sun, the hacker tried to sell the data for 100 thousand pounds, but was caught by the police.

The criminal turned out to be an employee of the IT company with which Manchester City collaborated. His house was ransacked and computers, telephones and e-mail were examined.

The hacker himself said that hacking Guardiola’s mail is the easiest thing he had to do.

Recall, Guardiola led the “City” in 2016, under his leadership, the English club twice became the champion of the country. On the eve of “Manchester City” beat “Real” (2: 1) in the first match of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
