Hollywood hosts the first Indian cannabis restaurant in the US

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Next week, the first restaurant in the United States will open, where customers can dine, drink and consume marijuana. The unique restaurant, located in West Hollywood, California, can accommodate up to 240 people, and is prohibited for those under 21 years of age.

West Hollywood, California, will host the first restaurant in the United States to allow its customers to dine, drink and consume cannabis , which will open early next week.

Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe, which can accommodate 240 people and prevents those under the age of 21, is designed in the style of the famous hashish cafes in Amsterdam.

Qualified experts, dubbed “Flower Hosts,” showcase the customers, seasoned or novice, the different types of marijuana that accompany their dishes, with the power and taste.

$ 18 per roll

The cafe offers pre-wrapped cannabis cigarettes, each costing $ 18 and some disposable products inlaid with cannabis, as well as accessories such as kettles.

“I never imagined I’d be part of a new page in history,” said Andrea Drummer, a kitchen administrator.

“It’s good to open a safe place for mass consumption. Amsterdam is the only example of the kind I know.”

Consumers have come from all over the country, and even a trans-Atlantic couple from Britain to participate in the official opening Tuesday, according to Drummer.

The coffee shop did not come by chance. Consumption of cannabis has been initiated in several US states in recent years, although it remains banned at the federal level.

California, the world’s largest legal market for marijuana, started consuming cannabis for entertainment in 2018, paving the way for huge investments in a multi-billion dollar industry.

Seven similar cafes in West Hollywood are due to open soon.

Derek Polilla, 22, says the cafe is “an excellent idea. If you go to Amsterdam, you will find such a shop every three meters.”

23-year-old Antonella Balagher, who went to Low Farms: A Cannabis Cafe with a friend, says she likes to come to this cafe every day to consume cannabis.

Drummer asserts that the restaurant staff are properly trained to control the situation.

“They are qualified for this task and to check the level of customer consumption before things get out of hand.”

“It’s the best thing the United States has done in a while,” says Matt Kirchner, who has a burger with meat and cheese and a chicken sandwich with a friend who smoke hashish.

“We enjoy beautiful weather and good music. We are here in California, where life is beautiful.”
