Hologram Whitney Houston went on a tour of Europe

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Seeing this with your own eyes, you will have to say “wow!”. The creators of the show “Evening with Whitney Houston” are counting on this effect. The hologram of the late singer went on tour in Europe on Tuesday.

The concert program was developed by the relatives of the star, Reuters video service reports.

“We created this hologram in order to sing the Whitney legacy. So fans can hear her music again. When they come to the concert and see her on stage, they will not be able to restrain their emotions. I’m sure of that,” said Pat Houston, sister-in-law of Whitney Houston and chairman of the singer’s heir society.

The hologram was created by BASE. She had previously stood behind similar projections by Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly, Amy Winehouse and Maria Callas.

The program features the best hits of Houston’s entire career. In addition to a digital copy, there will be live dancers on stage.

“I hope that the result of our performances will be that the audience will leave with again revived memories of what an incredible artist Whitney was. How angelic her voice was. I want them to remember what an incredible woman she was and how much she brought to this world. It was unique, inimitable,” says choreographer Fatima Robinson.

The organizers achieved their goals only partially. The first performance took place on Tuesday in Sheffield. The opinions of the fans were divided. Someone is completely delighted. Others called the hologram “creepy” and “intimidating.”

The Russians will be able to appreciate this show in person. On March 30, a hologram of Whitney Houston will perform in St. Petersburg, and on March 31 in Moscow.
