Huawei will build a window to Europe

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Huawei goes to Europe. The Chinese technological giant decided to build the first enterprise outside the Middle Kingdom, and his choice fell on France.

According to the newspaper Les Echos, the company intends to invest € 200 million in the plant for the production of mobile antennas for 4G and 5G networks.

Moreover, as the president of the Shenzhen giant Liang Hua emphasized, the enterprise will not only be engaged in assembly: testing will also be conducted there, as well as software installation. He added that the plant will provide work for up to 500 French.

This, according to the publication, coupled with investments should help the Chinese manufacturer to cut a window into Europe. Washington seeks restrictive measures from the EU countries in relation to the Chinese company, similar to the American ones.

However, the Europeans do not really listen to the White House: in late January, the UK approved the participation of Huawei in the construction of 5G networks. In the near future a similar decision is expected from the German parliament.

Where exactly the factory of the Chinese manufacturer will be built has not yet been decided.

According to Liang Hua, it all depends on how quickly all issues with the French authorities are settled. However, the construction itself, according to him, will not take much time.
