Hundreds of migrants sailed to the Greek islands

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Hundreds of migrants landed on the Greek islands located in the eastern Aegean . They sailed in boats from the Turkish coast. For the most part, these are refugees from Afghanistan, among them many children.

So, at least 250 migrants and refugees sailed to the island of Lesbos, but boats with them continue to arrive. More than 120 migrants in four boats arrived on the islands of Chios and Inussem.

The Greek coast guard notes that Turkish border guards do not respond to the situation, limiting themselves to the role of observers, do not respond to requests.

Earlier, after the aggravation of the situation in Syrian Idlib, Turkey stated that it would no longer be able to restrain the flows of migrants and refugees, and opened its borders with the European Union.
