US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The Korean company is again turning to the concept car genre to hint at the potential for the development of its own electric line. According to Hyundai, electric cars in the future will receive a futuristic design, but will lose their controls.
The new concept, the Koreans ambitiously called Prophecy – “Prophecy.” It is alleged that it is built on the latest platform, designed only for electric cars, and the design elements involved in its appearance will certainly find application on mass-produced cars.
Obviously, we mean “licked” bodies with thoughtful aerodynamics, elegant silhouettes and the so-called “pixel” optics.
An extensive wheelbase and minimal overhangs made it possible to organize a spacious (but strictly four-seater) salon, in which “air” adds the absence of a steering wheel and pedals. Instead, the driver has a pair of futuristic joysticks with buttons more similar to handles located on the door panel and the massive center console.
Prophecy cannot be controlled with their help, as the concept is declared completely unmanned. Human participation is reduced to the choice of settings for the functioning of the interior.

Particularly mentioned, for example, is the Relax mode, in which the seats fully recline – this allows passengers to either take a nap or focus on an impressive display that covers the entire lower part of the windshield.
According to some reports, Hyundai Prophecy hints at the appearance of a fast, long-range and comfortable electric car in the model line, however, its developers have not voiced any technical characteristics of the concept.
