IAEA has had access to all nuclear facilities in Iran (Amano)

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) –┬áThe President of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirms that the Agency has had access to all the facilities to be inspected in Iran.

IAEA boss Yukiya Amano said that according to the NPT additional protocol, the agency had access to all the facilities and places it needed to inspect in Iran, Al -Alam.

Mr. Amano was due to submit his report to the IAEA Board of Governors on Monday.

In a statement, he added that Iran’s active cooperation in making access to the nuclear facilities possible for Agency inspectors facilitated the implementation of the Additional Protocol and strengthened the climate of trust.

The IAEA confirmed in 11 different reports that Iran had fulfilled its commitments to the nuclear deal, an international document from which the United States withdrew unilaterally last May.
