IATA: Masks must be worn during future flights

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said it recommends wearing masks on board flights to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus when air traffic resumes.

While it is possible to maintain the usual allocation of seats, the recommendation is to require wearing masks or face caps on board aircraft, IATA medical adviser David Powell told reporters at a conference call on Tuesday.
