In Afghanistan, six soldiers died in clashes with Taliban

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — At least six Afghan army personnel were killed and 11 more injured in a clash with militants of the Taliban radical movement, 1TV reported, citing a statement by the country’s armed forces.

The incident occurred in the Dawn region of Balkh province in northern Afghanistan.

According to the Afghan army, 13 militants were also killed in clashes and nine more were injured.
