US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — The second person, who had previously been diagnosed with coronavirus, died in Britain, according to the Ministry of Health.
An elderly person who had other diseases besides COVID19 was treated in a hospital in England.
“I regret to inform you that the second patient in England, who was found to have COVID-19, died,” said Chris Whitty, England’s chief sanitary officer, on Friday evening.
The condition of the elderly patient was unsatisfactory. Doctors are currently identifying the contact circle of the deceased, said Whitty.
On Thursday in the UK, a woman over 70 years old, who also had a coronavirus, died. The state of health of the deceased was also unsatisfactory, an elderly woman was hospitalized several times with other diseases.
Earlier on Friday, the British Ministry of Health reported that the number of patients with coronavirus in the country per day increased by 47 to 163.
