Iran bans Telegram

IRAN (OBSERVATORY) – The court in Iran examined the complaints of citizens of the country and decided to block the Telegram.

According to RIA, referring to IRIB, users have applied to the judiciary over the past few months.

Iranian officials in advance began to abandon the use of Telegram. They switched to national means of communication.

Recall, April 13, the court in Moscow also decided to start blocking the telegram instant messenger after the company’s management refused to provide the FSB with the keys to decrypt user messages.
