Iran enriching uranium with advanced centrifuges in violation of the nuclear deal (IAEA)

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Iran has violated a nuclear deal with major powers by enriching uranium using advanced centrifuges, an International Atomic Energy Agency report said on Thursday.

The agency noted in its report, that Iran “intends to install more advanced devices than those announced by Tehran previously.”

The IAEA said it had verified that all centrifuges already installed in research and development lines 2 and 3 were ready to produce enriched uranium.
