Iran: Execution of a man for spying for the CIA

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — A death sentence has been handed down to a man convicted of spying for the CIA and trying to pass on information about the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, a spokesman for Iran’s judiciary said on Tuesday.

“The trial of Amir Rahimpour, who was a spy for the CIA, was tried and he received a large amount of money and tried to transfer some Iranian nuclear information to the American apparatus, he was sentenced to death and the Supreme Court upheld the ruling recently You will see its implementation soon.”
