IRAN (OBSERVATORY) – Iran presented a new system of anti-missile defense “Kamin-2” on Wednesday during a military parade timed for the Army Day in the country, IRNA reported.
According to the agency, the new system is capable of hitting unmanned aerial vehicles at low altitude. As noted, air defense is an updated version of the complex “Mercado”.
During the event, the latest version of the Zulficar tank, combat vehicles, artillery and other weapons were also presented, the report said.
In his speech at the ceremony on the occasion of the Army Day, President Hassan Rouhani stressed that Iran does not seek conflicts, but “the world can coexist with force,” the agency said.
