Iran reveals its new strategy in response to any aggression

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — The Revolutionary Guards’ political affairs assistant, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, said that Tehran had passed the deterrent stage and now had the ability to “counter-strike” any US-Israeli aggression.

Jawani said in statements to “Tasnim” that the Revolutionary Guards today “does not hesitate to respond to the Zionist attacks and does not suffer from any shortage,” but its actions are based on accurate estimates “and in time.”

Javani noted that his country has repeatedly declared that its regional policy is “to maintain security and stability in the region,” adding that “the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide security for the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz with the help of countries in the region.”

According to the Brigadier, Iran’s targeting of the US drone aircraft and its seizure of the British oil tanker made the regional governments aware of the “depth of the Islamic Republic’s capabilities.”
