UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS)
The US president will answer in an international court for the assassination of the IRGC forces commander, Qassem Soleimani, said Iran’s Supreme Court President Ebrahim Raisi.
Raisi said Iran would file a lawsuit in international courts against US President Donald Trump for violating all international laws by ordering the assassination of the IRGC commander Qassem Suleimani.
“This issue, of course, will be resolved at the headquarters of human rights in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other bodies, and we must ensure that the US president is responsible for his actions as the main suspect,” Raisi said in Tehran in Monday.
Trump will answer regardless of whether he will be in power as president of the United States or not. “This issue will be resolved, and we will not leave it alone, and it must appear before an international tribunal,” Raisi quoted the Fars Iranian agency.
On the night of January 3, as a result of a US airstrike on a motorcade near Baghdad Airport, the commander of the elite unit of Al-Quds of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Qassem Suleimani, was reported, Vesti. Economics reported.
