Israel military says discovered Hezbollah rocket production facility

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — The Israeli military said it discovered a Hezbollah object in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon for the conversion and production of precision guided missiles.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will continue to ensure the safety of its citizens and act against the “threat of precision missiles.”

“The facility was built several years ago by Iran and Hezbollah to produce weapons. Recently, various actions have been identified for the production and conversion of guided missiles of precision guided missiles at the facility, including the installation of a special conveyor for precision weapons and the transfer of special equipment,” statement by the Israel Defense Forces.

In addition, the statement also notes that several machines have been installed at the facility for the manufacture of engines and warheads for missiles with an accuracy of at least ten meters.

On Sunday from Lebanon, several anti-tank missiles were fired at the Israeli border army base and military equipment.

In response, the Israeli army attacked southern Lebanon. At the moment, the Israeli military calls the exchange of attacks with the militants of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement on the border of the two countries exhausted at the “tactical level”. The army also said that there were no casualties from the Israeli side.
